Blu-Ray is here!

Blu-Ray technology is here and might be coming to the states soon. I have no idea how much a Blu-Ray DVD burner/player will cost or how much a Blu-Ray DVD will cost but if it can hold up to 25GB and up. I know I will try to get one.

I found this Pioneer BDR-101A Blu-Ray burner that can 25GB discs at 72Mbps. The release date of the Pioneer BDR - 101A is sometime next year.

Now more about the Blu-Ray Disc:

"it has just been announced that the U.S. will share Blu-ray Region 1 status with South America and, more importantly, East Asia minus China. (For the 58% of young Americans who are unable to locate it on a map, this means that Japan and the US are in the same region). This is good news for anime fans, who should soon have an easier way to feed their Japanimation habit; as for gamers, even if PS3 games end up using region coding, U.S. consoles could still potentially play Japanese titles, " -- Engadget.com

I feel sorry for you guys in Europe and Australia because your not in the "cool" Region 1 areas.

12 Gauge Comics

12 Gauge Comics has bought something new to the comic book industry. The company was formed in 2005 and already has a strong fan base. They have a deal with Image Comics to distribute their comics. This last summer Image Comics distributed some of 12 Gauge Comics' comic books. This event was called "Shotgun Summer" and many of 12 Gauge Comics' comic books did very well. I have to say I was impressed went one comic book in particular. Body Bags was that comic book and it has to be one of the best comics I have read in a long time. The art in this two-issue comic book miniseries was incredible and the writing was well done. Jason Pearson wrote and drew the entire two-issue miniseries. If you enjoy reading comic books, then Body Bags is the book for you.

Vehicle Donations

It's the giving season and I want to do my part by tell you guys about a great way to give back to people who are in need. I choose to speak about Vehicle Donations. Vehicle Donations are one of the best ways of giving back to people in need. All sorts of people need vehicles to move around and to go to work. Vehicles ranging from boats to cars and even planes. You also know that 100% of your donation won't go to something other than the person that you donated it to. So, go out there and give back to your community.

Here are some sites that you can donate cars to:

Battlestar Galactica - Star Light

In David Eick’s latest video blog on Scifi.com. Numbers 12 to be exact, he and Ron Moore takes us behind the scenes of episode 15. Episode 15 takes place at the Star Light, I'm not sure if it's a culb on a cruise ship or just a cruise ship. Episode 15 is titled Captain's Hand but for some reason they might change it to Sacrifice or has the staff calls it the one that sucks. I would just call this episode Wild Night Out because thats what it's all about a wild night out.

David and Ron are giving away a lot of information about the rest of season 2 and they even show pictures of the Cylon baby. Which we will see in episode 17! I put up some pictures from David's video blog, so enjoy.

Warning: David 's video blogs contain spoilers for Season Two and so dose this blog!

Special guest star Dana Delany she play a "creepy" terriost.

Kandyse McClure aka Petty Officer Dualla and Harvey Frand taking a break to talk to David and video blog crew. After shoting a scene, where the production staff had to clean the blood off Dualla’s white dress. Who's blood? Well, Lee Adama's blood and get this he was shot by Kara Thrace.

David Erick & Paul Campbell & Ron Moore joke about the death of Mary McDonnell's character President Roslin. It seems President Roslin dies in an earlier episode.

Patricia Murray and David Eick and Ron Morre talk about the Cylon baby.
